Art Therapist, Speaker & Author

Elizabeth Cockey is an art therapist, speaker, and author in the Baltimore area. She has dedicated her life to enhancing the personal and mental development of others. She authored the coming non-fiction novel Drawn from Memory: A Personal Story of Healing Through Art.

For more than 12 years she helped in the fight against Alzheimer's disease through innovative forms of art therapy. She works closely with Good Samaritan Hospital of Baltimore, the Alzheimer's Foundation, and retirement communities throughout the Baltimore/Washington area including Augsburg Lutheran Home. She is available for art seminars on various topics.

To further encourage her patients, Cockey holds individual art therapy sessions and produces art exhibits to feature their artwork. Cockey holds a Master's degree in art therapy and works as a recreational therapist in Baltimore, Maryland.
